Vijayawada: APCC chief Shailajanath said that the Congress party has met the governor on behalf of the farmers and tried to satisfy the hunger of the poor. APCC leaders met the governor at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. Afterwards, Shailajanath told the media that they were condemning the attitude of corporates living with kindness without MSP and without procurements. The YCP was also accused of going along with the BJP. It has been criticized for tightening the current meters and tying the rope around the farmers’ necks. They made it clear that their fight would continue until these bills were withdrawn. Shailajanath said that programs would be held across the state for a month.
