New Dilli / Lucknow: A special court has delivered a sensational verdict in the much-awaited Babri Masjid demolition case. It said the incident was not pre-planned and there was no evidence that it was demolished as planned. CBI Judge Surendra Kumar Yadav read out the final verdict in Court Room No. 18 of the Special Court in Lucknow. A 2,000-page copy of the judgment was made in this case. The BJP leaders and members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad were shocked to learn that the final verdict in the long-pending case was in their favor.
Vinay Katiyar, Sakshi Maharaj, Dharamdas, Ram Vilas Vedanti, Lallu Singh and Pawan Pandya, who are accused in the case, have reached the court. Former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, former Union Ministers Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Satish Pradhan and Gopal Das appeared before the court via video conference. All the other accused reached the special court in Lucknow. LK Advani and former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi were also unable to appear in court due to Uma Bharti’s corona infection, age and illness.
