Hyderabad: A program will soon be launched to find a permanent solution to the issue of granting ownership rights to the poor who have been living on government lands for decades, Municipal Minister KTR said. Some of such people have already been granted ownership rights by 58, 59 organisms. He said the problem was still unresolved for some and a special program would be launched soon to address it permanently. It was also revealed that steps will be taken to prevent any problems in the future even for the sale of regulated assets.
Minister KTR conducted a municipality-wise review with all district ministers and urban MLAs at Pragati Bhavan on Monday on issues such as online registration of non-agricultural assets in urban areas and regularization of houses of poor people. In it he said that people in towns face more problems related to property ownership than in villages.
