Odisha: Another weapon in the hands of Indian troops. ‘Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo’ (Smart) successfully tested at Wheeler Island, Odisha. DRDVO officials said all the targets for the missile were at the expected level. On the occasion, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDVO. “It’s a great victory technically … it’s very useful during the war,” he said on Twitter. “Smart missiles play a key role in anti-submarine warfare operations,” DRDVO chairman D.S. Satish Reddy said. Earlier this month, DRDVO successfully tested a ‘laser-guided anti-tank’ missile.
