New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has concluded his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. The meeting was held as part of the state development agenda. Authorities said the chief minister had reported to the prime minister on 17 issues, including assistance to be provided by the Center to the state, arrears to be paid, guarantees of state partition and so on.
After the meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the AP Chief Minister will take part in the Apex Council meeting to be held via video conference at 12 noon on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Union Water Energy Minister Gajendrasingh Shekhawat. The meeting was organized by the Union Ministry of Water Energy to resolve water disputes under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. CM Jagan was accompanied by YSSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader V Vijayasaireddy, Lok Sabha party leader PV Mithunreddy, party whip Margani Bharat in the Lok Sabha, MPs Vallabhaneni Balashouri, Vemireddy Prabhakarreddy and Mopidevi Venkataramanaru.
