Visakhapatnam: The clinical trials of the Kovid-19 vaccine have begun at the King George Hospital in the city. It is learned that ICMR and Serum India have jointly conducted research on this vaccine developed by Oxford. To this end, the government has also given permission to conduct tests at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam. As part of that, Andhra Medical College Principal Dr PV Sudhakar on Monday vaccinated the first volunteer. On the first day, three volunteers were vaccinated. As part of this, clinical trials will be conducted on 100 volunteers over another 15 days, said Dr PV Sudhakar.
