GENEVA: The World Health Organization (WHO) has unveiled a new approach to providing Covid-19 diagnostic test results in just minutes. It is excellent for diagnosing cases in lower- and middle-income countries, the international agency said. Tedros Gebriasis, director general of the company, described the discovery as a great milestone in corona construction around the world.
Tedros explained that delays between tests and results have crippled the corona measures of various governments. He said the policy could bring about major changes in backward countries where resources such as health workers and labs are limited. The company’s Director General explained that this new approach, which is flexible and portable, reveals results in just 15 to 30 minutes. The company said it was worth $ 5.
The Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation has entered into an agreement with manufacturer Abbott & SD Biosensor to supply 120 million test kits in six months. The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros explained that this will benefit people in 133 countries around the world. He believes the new test will be a boon, especially for remote areas where the epidemic is high.
