New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the hearing on the issue of interest waiver during the moratorium on the Corona virus. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta asked for more time to provide the details sought by the court at the last hearing. It is learned that Justice Ashok Bhushan directed the bench to submit the comprehensive details taken by the Center and the RBI regarding the loan moratorium. However, SG told the court that the decision-making process of the Center on the issue was in its final stages. Similarly asked to give some more deadline to provide comprehensive details. The Supreme Court allowed the Center to give a deadline. The Supreme Court has made it clear that the interim orders given earlier will continue. The Supreme Court adjourned the next hearing to October 5.
