Tirupati: TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy inaugurated the new buildings of SVBC. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy had designed SVBC in 2007 and arrangements had been made with his permission. Test signals were conducted on April 7, 2008, with full broadcasts beginning in July of the same year. It has been revealed that SVBC has received the blessings of the devotees in a short period of time and the Tamil channel was also launched in 2017.
The new buildings include two studios and a teleport. YV Subbareddy said that SVBC is being set up as an ad free channel and donations have been sought from devotees for this. It has already been revealed that channels worth Rs 4 crore will be launched soon in Kannada and Hindi as per the wishes of the devotees. It has been clarified that we are converting SVBC to a full HD channel.
