Thadepalli: Ministers on Monday conducted a review on the ‘YSSAR’ scheme. Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandrareddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Kursala Kannababu and Appalaraju participated in the meeting held at the office of the Commissioner of Panchayati Raj. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Peddireddy said that Rs 4,643 crore was allocated to YSSAR last year and Rs 6,790 crore was released on the 11th of this month.
He revealed that they are implementing a scheme to empower women. “We are in discussions with various businesses and banks to encourage women to do business,” he said. He said 21 lakh people had applied for various merchants and 8 lakh would continue with the old shops. Minister Peddireddy said the reviews would continue until women start businesses.
